A Race to the Top

The last couple of years have been tough on businesses.  Many businesses did not survive the Great Recession of 2007. But the few that did are in a great position to return to top form by reinventing themselves.  Moreover, more new businesses are born during a severe downturn in the economy.

Learn the key differences that make a good company great. How changing the culture of business and not doing business as usual can set you apart from your competition.  As more businesses return to your industry, now is the time to position yourself at the top of your counterparts.

Even if you were in great position during the downturn, learn how to survive the next one.  Did you know that there have been 2 recession per decade on average?  Recessions (actually called "troughs") are cyclical.  Each decade averaged a minor trough last about 3 to 6 months with a secondary deeper trough lasting 9 to 13 months. Are you positioned for the next trough?  The Great Recession broke all records in length of the downturn including the Great Depression.

Garry Bowie actually predicted the Great Recession in April 2007.  Clarevoyant? No, just relying on good data.
